  • Do people really pee in sinks? Like I've always heard it as a joke but do people honestly do this frequently?

But honestly, huge no, I like to use my sink to wash my face in, and I rinse my razor in the sink. You wouldn't want urine on freshly shaved skin or open pores, sounds like a major infection.

    • I think you mean the wash basin. The sink is the thing in the kitchen. By the time you've got to the bathroom nobody's going to piss in the basin rather than the toilet!
      Oh, and urine is sterile.

      • Oh you're right, sorry, I have poor English.
I wouldn't trust everyone to have sterile urine though, yeast infections, bladder infections, stones, STDs, yadda yadda. Sterile or not, still unpleasant.
I think OP was talking about doing it even in the bathroom, I could see the environmental positivity, but everything else is... yuck.

    • I dunno about other people but I really do pee in my sink. It's a long way down to the toilet bowl and there's usually some spraying or deviation that occurs. I hate having old smelly pee on the floor behind my toilet bowl.

      • The way the sinks work with a P-pipe it keeps some liquid in it to keep the sewer gasses from coming through meaning your sink will, eventually start smelling like urine
