Lot of sensible comments (for a change - is the globe being bombarded by a solar flare today or something?).
Loving someone you can't have is an excellent subject for a movie, but real life isn't ninety minutes of angst and then everyone living happily ever after.
In real life, it's crap.
Being unfaithful or persuading someone else to be unfaithful is a shitty thing to do, and if she really loved you, she would find a way to be with you.
Be aware that people often use a fixation on the unobtainable, unrealistically perfect "love of their life" as a way of avoiding having to deal with finding someone who's good enough to make them happy (and there are lots of people out there who could do that if you were open to finding them).
If you love each other but he/she is not single, what do you do?
