If you looked young for your age would you use

If you looked young for your age would you use it to your advantage?

Let's say you're 40 and single but you are often mistaken for 20s.

When you are with your 9 year old daughter people assume she's your sister and say you don't look old enough. Actually when I took her to a children's summer program they said sorry her mom needs to sign up thinking I was her sister. Asking me for age proof because I didn't look old enough.

Would you act 40 and dress 40 or would you take advantage of looking 20s by dressing and acting more young and free spirited?

I look way younger than my age and it serves me no purpose.

I’m 38 and I worked the other day for the first time with a 21 yr old. We got on well, there was lots of banter between us. It was a fun work shift. He seemed like he wanted to befriend me and appeared quite crestfallen when he learned my age. I joked that I still had a full head of hair and he said no it’s not that it’s your energy, you have the energy of a 25 yr old, I just love your energy man, I don’t know how you keep up.
I was both flattered by it and thought it was ageist, I mean it’s not like I’m 60. But where I live, Australia, we’re extremely ageist here. No one is open minded enough to grasp that perspective of age changes as you age and if you invest in your spirit and attitude and remember to have fun that youth will be on your side.

To answer your question though I think that I can use it to my advantage in my relatability to the younger generation, I have wisdom and experience on my side and they have enthusiasm, energy and innovation. Investing in people and relationships and breaking down generational barriers.

As it happens, I actually turn 62 in 25 days. Many times I have been told I looked late 40's. But I cant go out trying to rerain my youth. To much drama for me. I do however enjoy hearing it when people so decide to tell me.

Just keeping your waist thin makes a big difference in the age look. As we get older our dad bod gets out of hand. If you can conceal the innerdad bod youll look young or whatever

I didn't think the "dad bod" thing was a serious issue until my brother had kids. He blew up like a balloon, and this was a guy who had been skinny his whole life!

Would depend on the situation, for work, parents evenings and times where I would need to be seen as a responsible adult I would dress like a sophisticated lawyer. For everything else I would dress however I wanted.

Id dress the same way as I do now. Young people just dress a tad more douchy than older ppl. I assume when most ppl get older and look back at pics of them in their youth they domt like what they were wearing.

I am one of those guys that looks younger than he is, and I've seen zero opportunities to use it to my advantage. What's the advantage? Making guys my own age feel older? I mean, I regress 15 years if I fully shave my face, but I don't think my peers are feeling emasculated by that.

I'm 33, I don't look my age and I dress like a teenager from 2006. Even if I were to somehow magically look my age tomorrow, I'd still dress the way I do now.

I don't quite act my age. I still love things like the mall, video games, anime, cosplay, and drawing. I can spend HOURS doing those things when I get the chance.

Despite those things, I'm no slacker and I do act my age when needed. I'm never late for anything whether it's a doctor's appointment or a mortgage payment. My credit score is 840. I love my job and I always make sure everything gets done. I never call in sick. I save money every two weeks. I'm also pretty good at budgeting. XD

I'm 25 and get told I look 12, and I also act and feel 12 so yeah I do use it to my advantage. Fuck being older.
The only annoying thing about it is when I ask people to make me NSFW art or post in certain groups, people ask me to show them proof of my age, which I can't really do. Cause I got no ID of any kind.

I look young for my age and I use it to my advantage, yes.
I never pay adult price on the bus for example, I always buy a kids ticket. I havent really found any other use for it though as most times you don't want to look like a teenager... For example if I go to the liqour store I feel I always get weird looks. I overall dont mind though because i'll likely always look young and when i'm older than I am now that will probably feel great. My mom looks young for her age so I think I always will too.
