Alot depends on the definition of Mass Shooting. Some countries say 5 or more people killed while in the US the threshold is 3 people injured. So if America raised the bar for the definition of a mass shooting it would lower the number of mass shootings.
Even so, about every month Inread in the news about a gun fueled deadly rampage. From the US not somewhere else. I know of only one such massacre from Canada and it's from 1992. Propably they tightened requirements after that..
Every month? Baloney.
Also consider the population in the US is about 350 million. Population of Canada is 37 million. Compared to Canada the US would logically have more shootings, more births, more deaths, more cancer cases, more cases of heart disease, more auto accidents etc..
With more people you have a increase in the number of occurrences and frequency.
If you had to pick a country OUTSIDE of America, where else would you go?

I took this into account. The stats are still disproportionate..

And yet 3 of the 5 safest states have the least restrictive gun laws. Go figure.
