What the hell is the difference between Britain, England, and the UK.
Are they the same place.
Are British people and English people the same people???
No they aren't the same place. England is an autonomous country in its own right, and spans from Land's End in Cornwall in the south-west to Newcastle in the north-east.
Great Britain (although I admit the "great" is a bit of a stretch) is made up of England, Scotland and Wales. 3 different countries within a single land mass.
The United Kingdom is Britain plus Northern Ireland, over which the Westminster (London) parliament rules.
Respect for asking the question and willing to be educated.
If you had to nuke 3 countries, which would they be?
