To me it seems like a one sided street. We give them billions a year and keep them from being wiped off the earth and what do they do for us? We saved them from extinction in ww2 and even gave them their land back. Why are they such a great ally for us? What use do we get out of them? Not being a smartass thats just how I see it. Most people disagree with my view. We give all our allies money and pay for their militaries and we get little in return.

I love, just paid 600 dollars in taxes this week. Thats money that's going to help other nations when theres a homeless epidemic in California, Lead in the water in Michigan, record dtug prices, shattered health care system.. think the majority of Americans disagree with you. We are being taken advantage of. We are trillions in debt and until recently were paying a tripple the percentage of the expenses for nato then nato countries. The nato countries werent even paying even tho their economy was doing great. We also gave Iran, a hostile nation, 150 billion. Gave 100 million to Egypt. We dont have the money to just give it away. My check last week was taxed 600 dollars and im supposed to be ok with it going to another country to help their people? What about our ppl?

Something he wasnt able to do. The American media is prioritizing war too much? Millions of people have died from these wars and we've spent trillions on them and they don't even benefit us. Why are you asking me if I've been to war I'm against war. You are the one that should answer that question because you seem to be for war. Actually the vast majority of soldiers are against these wars.
They protect the holy land of the worlds largest religion from savages of the opposing religion... seems like a good reason to me (an agnostic). Also those Israelites know how to make some badass weapons so weapon contracts are their number one priority for the western nations.
