Mixed gender families are best. Brothers and sisters may not like each other, but they have a good effect on each other. When you have all boys, your house becomes a military locker room. When you have all girls your house is Drama City. Single gender family? No thanks.

It would make no difference. Why keep it against the child for your wrong wishes?

If I wanted kids, which I don't, I would want a daughter and call her Marnie as I've loved that name for years and her middle name would be Sarah which is another name that I also think is pretty.

I don’t want kids but if I *had* to adopt one I’d get a girl as most of my family are girls and she could have all their old stuff thus saving me money. Then I would set about teaching her to be a badass until social services/ my family realise I’m unfit to be a parent.

Seeing how I'm infertile and I actually get to choose my future kid. I'm going to say Male. At least that's the first kid I'm going to get is Male, I'm going to get a female daughter as well but an older brother would suit her well.
