No doubt about it. I just miss the carefreeness of life when I was a kid.

Weekends were weekends, I remember bike riding around the suburbs, sleepovers, camps, sports, etc.

Also I would study harder in school and be nicer to my parents.

If I had to repeat my childhood, I'd probably murder my father.

    I'm dead serious.

    The answer is no.

Depends on if I knew what would happen or not I suppose, and if I had the ability to change that.

    yes.
catch fish in the river and grill them for lunch.
dig out sweet potato and cook them using firewood.
    climb up coconut tree.

  • Oh yeah, I just loved sitting around on my own, lonely and lost.

That doesn't sound any different from what you seem to be now.

      • The dead opposite actually, but I'm not surprised one would think that, I've always been impossible to read or get a handle on.

My childhood was quite different to my adulthood, I was a quiet and sullen child, I'm quite a loud and gregarious adult.

I was kind of subtly emotionally messed up by my childhood. Nothing really overt, but it had some bad effects over time. Maybe if I went through it again knowing what I know now, I could make it better somehow, but I wouldn't want to repeat everything I experienced then.

Yes. Especially if I knew what I know now. I would do better and have way, way more fun.

Yes, there are some things that I did that I would like to change. But I shouldn't because that could make the future devastating because the past isn't meant to be changed, so I guess no...

Definitely! This period of my life was a fairy tale. It was really fantastic.

Thanks OP for waking up those memories
