I did this for a school project. The assignment was to build a society. Took me three days and I made a full scale model of it. It was pretty great. Basically the school system was progressive and taught you a little more each year to build students. Like PE would be kindergarten 10 push ups, next year 20, next year 30 sort of like that. Classes started for first two years as mainly math and English and than sprinkled in history and those sort of classes after third grade. After third year youd be tested for grade level A,B, C, D and what your best subjects where. The subjects where categorized by test based on skill, interest and obtained ability. After which you were given an option for two subjects a major and minor. Kids where offered leadership academy after age 11 and if they passed the test sent to a school for major leadership positions in the community like example politics, teachers, public speaking. The prison system also had an A, B, C, D crime system. All A crimes would be executed. Like Rapist, childmolestors, serial killers. Anything that fell to D would have no prison time just be sent to rehabilitation centers like having crack for example. B and C crimes would stay in the prison/jail for a sentence of months to years depending on crime and than be released. B an C would be like Manslaughter, or grand-theft auto. There is a Ball hall in the middle of the city which throws events every week for all the town's people to attend. Also all the streets are interconnected so you can bike everywhere and don't need cars. When kids graduate HS they would have already obtained the certificates and knowledge to start in the work place. So they can either start work, go to a trade school or go to. University which would be needed for higher end jobs like Doctors that require several years of schooling. Military would be the same but has a special unit to house orphans and foster children. Military would be the same as now and Hospitals would have the same system as they do now. All farms would be local and open range. Any food not sold at local markets would be donated to needy family's or the orphan children. Any vegetables not used would be turned into compost and sent to the farmers free of charge to turn use as manerure. There would be a district outside the city where you went to do things like smoke, drink and gamble or purchase the brothal services or a hooker. It would have a single road and be a mile outside of a city and be a little sin city. Incest and beastiality would be illegal and strongly discouraged. Any engaging in such acts would be banished. Animal testing would be outlawed and switched to lab cell tests and any other needed tests would be done on prisoners offered early freedom of they become live ginuie pigs. Anyone who stole from a person and could not pay them back would become endentured service that person for a max number of months based on how much money the person lost.
