If you could have a country of your own, what would it be like?

I'd have all the people running my country on lie detectors when they're addressing the people. The people deserve the truth. The truth can be very difficult and create rifts between people I am aware of this, but I think it would be best to have a society that is all on the same page and under no false illusions. Leaders lying just leads to disenchantment and disillusioned individuals and I'd want the people in my society to strive to live honest lives based on ethics and good principles. I would have music playing in more public places, Schools would encourage individuality and dismantle stereotypes. I would strive to offer equality to all and regulate the banks and their greed to provide a stable economy. I'd call citizens family, I'd heighten awareness of drug issues in the country and fund community programs to help those on wayward paths. This would no doubt see a drop in criminal activity.

I'd plant more trees.
