Getting hit on by all manner of creeps isn't very pleasant. Just because someone is attractive doesn't mean they automatically have great relationships.
One thing I love about about being older, and having gained some weight is that the disgusting creeps and dirty, old men don't bother me in general anymore, and I seem to get more respect across the board. Younger men are still friendly toward me, but I don't chase after them or let them chase me.
