18 is pretty darned great. I can't imagine it gets a whole lot better for me, although you never know.
18 is a crappy age in my opinion. Old enough to be considered an adult by law, but still too young to be considered an adult by most of society.
Being considered an adult by society gives you a lot of responsibility and not much fun :P
