If someone is upset over something small, are their feelings still valid?

Say like she gets whiny, angry, and cries over their friend coloring his hair a color she hates or her favorite food not being in stock at the store. Are her feelings still valid? Does it make me a bad person if I don't feel bad for her?

Help us keep this site organized and clean. Thanks!

Her feelings are valid to her, and you have the right to not care too.

  • It seems a bit emotionally immature, I'd focus on trying to get her out of that habit if you wanna help.

It means she's immature. Treat her like you would a child. Husbands with bitchy wives should also take this advice.

No, you're fine. She's just being ridiculous. I'm sure she really does feel upset, but you don't have to grieve with her over petty things.
If one of her loved one dies or something big like that, that's understandable.
Just leave her to her own emotions when it comes to #firstworld drama.
