Obviously. Most animals would do that. Even much smaller animals like rats will fight men hard if cornered cause they think you want to eat them. You chose the most aggressive temperate bear to be example. I think it goes Grizzly > Brown bear > Black bear. At least in North America, it might be one of the more aggressive species. Many people still see grizzlies without either being hurt. And if you do something stupid like shoot them, of course they hurt you if they can (which is probably most of the time). But they run away if you spray bear spray in their eyes. They're smart enough to realize only your sensitive nose etc. burns and it can't go as far as bullets so he probably can't keep shooting you till you die if you run. Also, grizzly bear mothers are cowards. Be glad that your kids are much better armed than a mouseling or a puppy and just watch the human and call them to come to you or go to them without being a pussy. If the human's not an idiot he's not going to hurt a bear that could bite his head off. So just circle around. And stop being so far from your kids if you're such a pussy about things in between you. Or are you one of those entitled impatient bitches that goes through humans to get to the cubs 1 second faster because you're the king? It's the human's fault (unless he didn't know the bears are there) but he's not wrong to try to stop it cause he doesn't have anything less painful that'll work available and he's a human. (like a tranquilizer dart that can stop a grizzly in 1 second. Is that even possible?). Okay, there's some assholes that'd deserve it. Hitler, serial killers.. It's a very karmic removal of stupidity from the gene pool if the guy being attacked likes hunting and tormenting cubs. But this is about people who are not bad enough to deserve it being attacked by entitled mother bears.
