Madam, this millinery theft is adding insult to injury and I, for one, will not stand idly by and let it happen.
I will do what Churchill would have done, what the Duke of Wellington would have done, what the Black Prince would have done. I shall put on a wig and a lovely little party dress and run in after you, telling everyone assembled that we are in the company of a hat thief. I will then solve the crime (first off, I know it's you, and secondly, you have my hat in your hand) and all the ladies will hurrah at me and we'll have a super time while you are tried and charged with hate crimes. Well, hat crimes. It's close enough. :P
Since I have landed myself in such a pickle, and find myself on trial, I have no choice.
I will ask to speak on my behalf at sentencing, and instead of begging for mercy, I will tell all of dappled's most shocking and embarrassing IIN secrets. Soooo worth it!!
Ohhh, you're bluffing! You know no shocking or embarrassing secrets! Although I wouldn't put it past you to make some up. :P
It's amazing how in five posts we've gone from a friendly punch on the arm to abuse, theft, peeping tommery and hate crimes. I think we may be a bad influence on each other.
If someone chained you to a chair and put the TV on.....
