If we had the technology to do this with a helmet or some sort of unavoidable viewing, we wouldn't have to strap you to a chair...until then, we're kind of stuck with doing something of that sort!!
I suppose we could plaster the room with TV screens, floor and ceiling included, and leave you free to roam in there.
If someone chained you to a chair and put the TV on.....

I think being strapped to a chair for 7 days would annoy me the most.
