Villain, they have the most interesting stories and they have the most fun. Throughout comics heroes are always struggling to find happiness and balance their regular life with their secret one. Heroes end up being miserable and destroying relationships, they never get the girl and if they do she is killed by a villain or leaves him. Villains are also complete badasses
I would be the mysterious villain. A villain so mysteriously cunning that no one would ever be able to predict what I'd do next. I'd have a high tech lair in a hard to find or penetrate location. My suit would have abilities of its own and be stylish. No one would ever see my face or any other part of my body. My voice would have a disguise of its own. My powers would be many.
I picked Guru / Advice giver to find that the majority picked that too. Are we all cynical old farts that only reluctantly give help and advice to the youngsters only when they can prove themselves somwhat special..
Come to think of it that is kind've the purpose of IIN. Giving help and advice to people who prove themselves by making a worthy post/story, no wonder it's the majority.
I used to have the mentality (and still kind of do) that all of the evil in the world happens because *I* allow it to happen. I also have a very strong disgust towards anyone who finds it OK to harm others for their own personal pleasure.
I'd probably start out as a Guardian but inadvertently become a Good Guy. Placed on Earth for a higher purpose and fulfilling that higher purpose, all the while saddened by what is going on around me (murder, war, crime, supervillains) enough to emotionally force me to intervene.
My entire story would basically be me trying to allow the course of human events to proceed normally but then seeing evil first-hand and having a moral obligation to fight it. I'd seek guidance from the Guru as to whether or not I am proceeding on the right path and get some ambiguous bullshit from them, and eventually become the on-again-off-again hero.
I'd eventually learn to stay out of the business of wars and terrorist attacks and stick to the big threats that humans can't fight on their own like the Skrull invasions and such.
Hmm. I don't know. I read in to a bit of who the Batman character "Jason Todd - The red Hood" was, and he was an anti hero. Doing what he seen as needed, regardless of how it's done.
I would probably either be an:
Anti-hero.
Self serving mercenary
Or someone that is acting as the Villains sidekick, waiting for my time to betray him and take what makes him powerful for myself. (the unexpected big bad wolf)
But my first guess would be an anti-hero that isn't understood, most likely to help the hero at times, but just as likely to turn on the hero due to believing they are not doing what it takes.
I'd be a guy with extraordinary powers, who wants to change the world for the better (his view of better). But most people won't understand that, since they are stupid and only believe what the media says, so that they will label me as the villain even though I'd only try to unify the earth to end war and steer everyone towards a common goal.
