If life were a superhero comic, what would you be?

If you were to wake up tomorrow in a comic book life, which would you be and why?

    • Let's think up some names, shall we?

      - Shuggy-dō

      - Hentai-chan (I think there's already a "Hentai Man")

      - The Fuzzy Condom (Is it too strange? :O)

  • Innocent bystander. I've always wanted to scream "My leg!"

    Comment Hidden ( show )
  • Genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist.

  • Villain, they have the most interesting stories and they have the most fun. Throughout comics heroes are always struggling to find happiness and balance their regular life with their secret one. Heroes end up being miserable and destroying relationships, they never get the girl and if they do she is killed by a villain or leaves him. Villains are also complete badasses

  • Often times when people describe their character, they're telling you what they'd like to be rather than what they really are.

Me though? I'm just an innocent by-stander. Don't hurt me!

    Comment Hidden ( show )
  • None. I'd be the guy reading the comic books thinking everyone in them is cool.

    Comment Hidden ( show )
  • I'd be the Anti-hero! Not quite good, not quite bad, but has all the adventures, gets drunk often and has lots of sex.

  • The villain on the outside and the hero on the inside, I don’t like showing my kindness. Just think of me as another "despicable me" character. :) Plus, I get to have cute lil minions.~ Yay.

  • The Anti-Hero, just like I am on IIN.

    • I find you're very much an image of an hero on IIN. If we must say, an aloof hero perhaps?

      • I am an unwilling hero. I say bad things and people like me for it. Well, some hate me for it but most love me for it.

        Comment Hidden ( show )
  • Funny how no one has yet voted to be an extra.

    Comment Hidden ( show )
  • Objectified.

  • I wouldn't go out looking for a fight. I wouldn't stay up all night listening to police scanners. I'd use my powers for my own fun, and I'll help others only when it's convenient.

    Comment Hidden ( show )
  • The odd bystander that eventually takes over the world and kills Superman with legions of Far Realm creatures.

    Comment Hidden ( show )
  • I would be the hero that saves everyone but ends up dying in the end.

    Comment Hidden ( show )
  • I would be the mysterious villain. A villain so mysteriously cunning that no one would ever be able to predict what I'd do next. I'd have a high tech lair in a hard to find or penetrate location. My suit would have abilities of its own and be stylish. No one would ever see my face or any other part of my body. My voice would have a disguise of its own. My powers would be many.

  • The Villain's Sidekick. I'd be mysterious.. betray the villain, and no-one would know why or for what reason and i'd just say: "It's more interesting this way". Well still working on that personality xD

    Comment Hidden ( show )
  • I would be dreadful, whoever I was.

    Comment Hidden ( show )
  • I'd be a hedgehog, like Sonic. :D

    Comment Hidden ( show )
  • It's disturbing that most people picked the villain...

    Comment Hidden ( show )
  • I picked Guru / Advice giver to find that the majority picked that too. Are we all cynical old farts that only reluctantly give help and advice to the youngsters only when they can prove themselves somwhat special..
Come to think of it that is kind've the purpose of IIN. Giving help and advice to people who prove themselves by making a worthy post/story, no wonder it's the majority.

  • The deus-ex-machina. A plot device that changes everything...preferably not clear if to the positive or negative...

    Comment Hidden ( show )
  • Michael Jordan (best superhero)

    Comment Hidden ( show )
  • :( I wanted to be Batman.

  • I used to have the mentality (and still kind of do) that all of the evil in the world happens because *I* allow it to happen. I also have a very strong disgust towards anyone who finds it OK to harm others for their own personal pleasure.

I'd probably start out as a Guardian but inadvertently become a Good Guy. Placed on Earth for a higher purpose and fulfilling that higher purpose, all the while saddened by what is going on around me (murder, war, crime, supervillains) enough to emotionally force me to intervene.

My entire story would basically be me trying to allow the course of human events to proceed normally but then seeing evil first-hand and having a moral obligation to fight it. I'd seek guidance from the Guru as to whether or not I am proceeding on the right path and get some ambiguous bullshit from them, and eventually become the on-again-off-again hero.

I'd eventually learn to stay out of the business of wars and terrorist attacks and stick to the big threats that humans can't fight on their own like the Skrull invasions and such.

  • I've been likened to a sidekick before, a lot like Robin. I don't really like that comparison though :/ I'll go for someone else.

    • Nightwing was pretty awesome. I think that was Robin's solo and grown up alter-ego.

      Comment Hidden ( show )
  • The hero like in all my nightmares.

    Comment Hidden ( show )
  • The computer specialist.

    Comment Hidden ( show )
  • The confused character trying to find myself.

    Comment Hidden ( show )
  • Hmm. I don't know. I read in to a bit of who the Batman character "Jason Todd - The red Hood" was, and he was an anti hero. Doing what he seen as needed, regardless of how it's done.

I would probably either be an:
    Anti-hero.
    Self serving mercenary
Or someone that is acting as the Villains sidekick, waiting for my time to betray him and take what makes him powerful for myself. (the unexpected big bad wolf)

But my first guess would be an anti-hero that isn't understood, most likely to help the hero at times, but just as likely to turn on the hero due to believing they are not doing what it takes.

    Comment Hidden ( show )
  • I'd be a guy with extraordinary powers, who wants to change the world for the better (his view of better). But most people won't understand that, since they are stupid and only believe what the media says, so that they will label me as the villain even though I'd only try to unify the earth to end war and steer everyone towards a common goal.

    • wow great thinking! the same as mine, but ive lost faith in humanity, so im going to enslave them :D...

      Comment Hidden ( show )
  • I would be the guy you see in the background, but not noticeably during the duration of the story. You think the villain is going to kill the good guy, but then out of nowhere, BAM! Bad guy dead.

    Comment Hidden ( show )
  • Seriously? Am I the only one who voted?
