If i was born in 1992 would i be a “90s” child?

I got slightly offended when somebody told me I’m a 2000s child. I think I’m a hybrid because I remember Nick shows that didn’t make into the new millennium, like Klarissa, Ren and Stimpy, KaBlam, but I did watch some early 00s show like Spongebob, Invader Zim and Fairly Odd Parents.

    It's not the decade you remember best, it's the decade you were born in. I'm an 80s baby as I was born in October '89. It's irrelevant that I have no recollection of the first 3 months of my life.

    You're the definition of a 90's kid. I think it counts as long as you were conscious and capable of memory in that period. I was born in 99 however, so I consider myself a 2000s kid. Its funny how many people my age vehemently claim otherwise though lol.

    As I understand it, you are a XXs-decade child if your childhood took place in the following ten years after your birth. I was born in the 70s but it seems I'm an 80s child.... Please enlighten me anyone who knows better than this!

    I mean, OP, most of my memories are from the 80s, not the 70s... even if I got to know and experience that decade as well. Now I'm curious about this, too.
