too many girls walk around invincible. good if you bring them down a peg. As a guy, I wouldn't hit a girl, but when a girl does a wrong to me, I am seen as wrong for doing something to get even. I am seen as a tattle tale for telling. I am seen as wrong for telling them off. They won't listen to logic sometimes and nothing gets through to them! WTF are you supposed to do when all of those options are out?
