  • I mean we do physically see light. Its color coated for our needs as animals. Being able to see color is a net good if you are a hunter gatherer society. Knowing which berries are toxic is essential.

    Lots of other animals see color but its limited to colors that indicate food or dangers.

    So in it's own badass way our visible light detector eyes that can give us insightful information about the object we look at.

    What I mean is that the senses unintentionally mix that paired with our inteligence complicates messages being sent from our senses imbuing a reality to ourselves.

    On a basic level of emotion for simple animals it's mostly flashes of stimuli bursts. Fear, hunger, happiness, anxiety, pain all being felt, but due to the simplicity of their existance: survive and multiply. They just experience life purely and objectively.
