    Ah, but you couldn't become fully omniscient with mind control. If you were omniscient, you would know everything everyone is thinking. And omniscience would give you the power to achieve anything else.

      Well I don't want to be omniscient any more than I want to be immortal. Also, knowing what people are thinking doesn't let you control them.

        Oh, mind CONTROL. I read it as mind-reading for some reason... Hmm... I may be stretching it, but true omniscience would give you the know-how to convince anybody to do whatever you want. Eh?

          But I don't think you can make people do everything just with convincing. It would take a lot more in some cases. Mind control doesn't have that problem, and you don't have to put up with knowing everything.
