Mind you, I did not voice an opinion on CRT, and it's beside the point.
A teacher should be able to facilitate students' independent thinking, whatever the topic is. No teacher is the holder of any knowledge to be INSTILLED in students. The combo teaching/learning is a process where THINKING and QUESTIONING are at its core.
"as soon as a teacher teaches children something like activism, politics, race theory they should be banned from teaching". Op is talking about things like this, dude. I agree with you that thinking and questioning are vital to be taught, but what op outlined in their point are things teachers shouldn't be able to impose on their students.
Also, how is a History teacher supposed to explain political systems and how policies are made and have been throughout History, social classes, etc. without talking politics? Should the topic be banned then?
What he's actually saying is DON'T LET THESE DAMN LIBTARD TEACHERS TURN MY KIDS INTO GAY-LOVING COMMUNIST SJW SNOWFLAKES!
When the parents of the kids you teach have similar concerns as mine do you also translate their words to fit your world view of them being bumbling fools? This is a great example of the type of teachers I worry my kids being taught by. You should try to use the critical thinking you teach and get off your high horse and try to understand the other perspectives before you mock them.
I dont want the schools to impose any belief system on my kids, to me this is no different than teaching kids religion in school. I saw above you had mentioned "you want to teach kids to be critical thinkers" if thats the case, assuming you dont subscribe to critical race theory, then you are probably a good teacher.
I'll give you 3 examples of what I am talking about and all these examples have happened in schools.
1. Telling the white kids to stand up and explain to the class exactly how they're privilege from colored people and how their life will be easier.
2. Explaining to the kids that if they feel like the other gender its ok to transition and its normal. And that will make them the other gender.
3. As I said making comments insinuating people who arent liberals are stupid. Kids are easily persuaded and if they see someone that they think is cool, smart, in authority position they are likely to listen to.
I worry about teachers

All conservatives do is mock people.
Ouch!
But they are certainly allowed to impose the OP's own beliefs, right? Double standards I'm sure.

Teaching religion and politics as beliefs or stances that are better or worse is akin to teaching that a football team is better than another.

Its a safe assumption that she doesn't "voice her opinion" on critical race theory because she is a teacher that supports it.
