  • Oh, that happens when I lie down for a long time in a dark area while looking at something bright. If I suddenly get up, my vision would fade for a few seconds.

But be careful. Maybe you overdone it... Make sure to take short breaks once in a while (which you did and was good). Even if you don't think you need one, you should do it.
Also, is this your first time in a while? If so, your body may not be used to it as much. (Like how I would do curl-ups/sit-ups before and nothing would hurt after. I took a break from that for a bit, but when I did it again, my core was slightly sore after.)
Oh! Also, it's good that they had you get on the sofa and drink water. When you take breaks, drink it (Not too much, or it'll give aches when you exercise.). If not, you'll get dehydrated and exhausted easily.

    • I'll be honest, I'm new to the gym. This was my second time ever going there. My workout was rigorous because the dumbbells I used were rather heavy. Like I told someone else, perhaps I wasn't breathing correctly during reps. Maybe I pinched a nerve.

      • Maybe. I remember when I first got torticollis, my family thought I might have pinched a nerve because the back of my head would go numb once in a while...

I hope you get better soon! Ask a doctor first before going to another workout, though.
