There's nothing wrong with being alone if when you're alone is when you're at your most liberated. Some people's partners make them feel like they're alone even when they're together.
It's all a question of mentality. Company comes in many forms, not just in the form of a partner.

I didn't say it was in the form of a partner that I needed company - though that too would be lovely. It's more a general sense of social isolation.
