The fact that your parents planned to have you meant that they wanted you. It's horrible when your conception wasn't planned, because it means that your parents didn't necessarily WANT a(nother) child.
That being said, the fact that my own conception wasn't planned by my parents (and the fact that I came almost exactly a DECADE after my sister) is just one bit of frosting on my triple-layer cake of low self-esteem.
