I was late for babysitting job

I was late this morning for a babysitting job i have. I babysit my relatives son. I have only babysat one day before today. My alarm did not go off, that is complete honesty. Her husband leaves the house at 5:30 (5:45 at the latest) i woke up around 5:35. We live minutes apart. Whenever she called she sounded very mad. I got to her place at 5:41. Her husband seemed okay. So my question is, what should I do? I thought about telling her I wouldn't want pay for today.

    You were not too late and the husband was there so it wasn't like the kids were alone. I think your good if the husband was alright with it.

    She overreacted to the situation. Probably in panic mode. Be sure to set your alarm. :)
