I want to wake up in a post-apocalyptic world where the rest of the human race has been wiped leaving behind only me and a woman of reproductive age as the only survivors. Then, in a 'race against time' I have to use any available technology that's still operational to locate her on the world map, find her against all odds and together repopulate earth.
let's just hope it ain't that weird hoe who fantasizes about her throat being slit during sex
Sounds like an ill thought out dream. Shit would be boring. Not to mention with no one meaning nuclear power plants, or sewage systems they'd all go fuvked. The planet would basically be ruined by sewage and radiation. Not to mention any children you have would then have to breed with each other and so on. The inbreeding would be so bad god only knows what they would look like in a few generations.
Post apocalyptic life fucking sucks. I mean people who actually want it to happen do not realize how much we need eachother to make basic things. Think of all the plants and animals you can find naturally within 50 miles of you. That's what you are going to eat until you die.
Hell most things are sourced from a dozen places before being manufactured in another before being transported to you for your convenience. Unless you have natural coca growing near you, you will never have chocolate again. If you arent in an area to grow rice, you arent going to have rice anymore. If you live in the united states most likely your staples will be reduced to wheat, corn, potatoes and whatever seeds the local farms have on them plus the wild fauna.
Dont even get me started on medicine. Good luck in sourcing even basic medicine after 5 years. If you are diabetic you are almost guaranteed to die. I rely on testasterone that is manufactured from yams (how the hell they do it I dont fucking know)
Post apocalyptic scenarios are fun to dream about but to actually wish for it is stupid. In projections of what would happen if power goes out in america, over the course of 3 months nearly 50% of the population would starve. No matter how well you think you would do when shit hits the fan, unless you are in a self contained doomsday prepper camp you are kinda fucked.
Certain people that fantasize about this usually don't see a lot of action. I think it's normal to want something adventurous like that.
