Please please don't! I'm 41 years old and have been addicted to heroin my whole life. It's not heroin anymore. What is out there is KILLING PEOPLE, many people. I've been on/off methadone maintenance for 13 years and this is NOT how I wanted my life to end up. Can't get a job because of past legal issues which are public to anyone who wants to look them up, I have to rely on the kindness of the person I live with to stay here because I can't afford to live on my own with no job or with a job that pays like $11 at the most. I lost custody of my 16 year old daughter when she was 3. I could give you a MILLION reason why I wish I never touched the shit in 1996 but I did and I fucked MY WHOLE LIFE UP. Please reconsider. Smoke weed or something.
Thank you for your story. I’m sorry that you had to experience all of this and that it’s still affecting your life. Did you thought about running your old business or doing something like IT/design?
