I want to live alone in the forest with at least 4 dogs when i retire

When I have worked my life away I imagine myself living isolated and only caring for my (future) dogs. I want them to be my only priority and not have to think about other people. Being lonely has never bothered me.

  • I do! In a cool, wet location in which I can snowed in for the winter.

The only form of technology I’d like is a car for occasional use and the internet. Otherwise I’m more than content alone.

Sounds like you have become fead up with people and society and want a simpler life. There was a piont I wished for a zombie apocalypse so I could be alone and free to rome the city on my own. That changed after I left home and got away from my idiot sibling, my abusive mother and neglectful father though. So I guess Im happier now.

I was just thinking of this today. When I get super rich I'm gonna retire and buy a house out in the middle of nowhere and just fall off the face of the earth. No one ever hear from me again. Just me and my wife and kids. Sounds like paradise to me.

Kids need to be able to associate with other children their own age in order to learn social skills.

That is quite weird! But whatever floats your boat I guess! Maybe when I am old I will see things differently.

I wish I could win the lottery so I could get a big ass house with a pool in the backyard, and lots of land. I'm relatively happy in my little house with my Siamese cat, but he just turned 12 years old, and sometimes I feel bad that it's always just only been the two of us. He gets along well with my sister's poodle who is only a year younger than him, and he also seemed to enjoy my cousin's Australian shepherd, but she was three years old, and my cat was 10 at the time. I would love for my cat to have a gentle, and intelligent dog as a friend. I'm very partial to Shetland sheepdogs myself.

If I could have my little dream home situation I would want my elderly parents to have a little cottage nearby on the property, or maybe have a house that is large enough to where we wouldn't drive each other nuts. If I won the lottery I would want to maybe hire a housekeeper who could cook as well to help out I guess. Ideally I want her to be able to cook Colombian food among other things.

I know my ideal situation is a bit more complicated than what you have shared with us, but I think it's rather simple in that I'm not looking for a lot of drama, or whatever.

I sometimes want to reconnect with old friends, and make some new friends, but in general I just want things to be chill.

... and yes, I really do want more cats, and some dogs as long as they're gentle, intelligent and affectionate! If I could go back in time to my childhood I would want to have an indoor Siamese cat, or two. I honestly think that my cat is good for my soul!

P.S. My cat is sleeping on my lap right now, and he's a furry, little, chill pill.

Hmmmmmm. Too bad you didn't get into the Army. Different dreams would have come true.

I dunno, I could have been killed in a stupid war about oil. I really HATE big oil!

Doubtful. There were very few casualties for the U.S. and allies. PTSD would be a more likely outcome. Whatever, watch a documentary on TV if you get bored.

After boot camp you wouldn't care; you'd hate everything. You would even eat the food you hate the most, so you could forward to the food you hated the least. Your Dad can tell you more. It's a real reptilian experience from what I hear.
