I want to give up on our society and live in the wild like a caveman

I am tired of the society we live in. So tired infact that I'm considering leaving it for good.

I feel your pain. But now humans ruined the world. BTW FREEDOM IS AS FAKE AS MYTHICAL CREATURES! I WANNA RANT SO MUCH! But I must limit my hatred before I burn down something. So as I was saying, freedom is a freak fake. If we were free, we would be hunting bald eagles and running in the mountains on ponies without being sued for “trespassing” land people own. The world is so ruined there is no turning back. If I were president I would burn down everything and regrow plants and stuff. Then live like an Indian.

I agree freedom is fake. We are required to do things almost our entire waking lives for society. What does is get us?

I don't believe the land is ruined tho. I just don't understand how the government just buys it all up, with our money, and then forbids us to use it. I hate that.

There is so much fucked up rules and regulations in this world. I hate it.

I am too. I would do that except there is no where you can go and be legally left alone to build something.

Oh yeah. If you're in the states your best bet are unincorporated towns or the free land in the Midwest. Being an actual hunter gatherer lends itself to a more semi-nomadic lifestyle anyways so you wouldn't really be in the business of making permanent structures to begin with, but plenty of people do this too, around northern Utah, and into Wyoming/Colorado I believe. Homesteading is huge right now too, tiny houses and whatnot, but you would need to buy the land in most cases. But there are plenty of 'leaving society' options, to live with quakers, natives, Amish etc. I don't even know if you're american, but once you're outside the States there are a lot more options. The best we really have is BLM land and the parks, where you could hide away for awhile but eventually would probably be discovered.

Good idea but, you'll miss the creature comforts, conveniences, and other easy living features offered within First World civilization.

Just get yourself a man cave, and have the best of both worlds. Technology, climate-control,and a territory you claim as your own.

If you just want to go crazy in a primal wildman kind of way, run off to the wilderness for the weekend.

But, if you're serious, I guess you can go live off the grid. That's an option. I wouldn't do it, no way, no how. I love how lazy this century can be. So many conveniences!!!

Well, you wouldn't have Internet nor any access to education and your life expectancy would certainly drop very quickly. So as much as I hate society myself I'd have to say that is something we must endure and a small price we have to pay to better ensure our own survival.

I have severe anxiety which makes it hard for me to deal with people and if I was a billionaire I'd buy my own private island and have a mansion on said island with all the mod cons so I never have to deal with the human race but sadly that dream will never come true.

See there are many days I think I would like to do that but there are sacrifices to think about it means not living near your family which I hate the thought of it means likely moving far away from all your friends and it means you can no longer enjoy any of the convenience provided by modern life but it's all about what you really want but for a lot of people (such as myself) we don't know what we want
