ooh please ma'am, don't do that!! the poor kid would feel bad when he grows up and gets to know that he was given for adoption!!
just give the poor thing a couple of more years and he should be okey.. May be you and your husband should leave him to be a bit more free and not nag him a lot, that way when he notices that he doesn't get unruly attention for he's mischief he might tone down..
