I want to get a co-worker i dated fired

It's really awkward now, I was thinking of going to HR to tell them he sexually harrassed me or something but I don't want him to go to jail I just want him to go away. Like if they asked him to resign it would be better cause I don't want to ruin his career.

Here's the solution, you're the one with the problem so you quit your job.

Imagine if the shoes were reversed. How would You feel if he made up a story, ruined your reputation, and left you without a job!

    Your character sucks, OP.

Find a new job yourself or deal with it.

If he's not actually sexually harassing you then what you need to do is just leave him the fuck alone, and deal with the awkwardness. You have no reason to turn him in except for your own petty and selfish means. Don't be a bitchy, stupid cunt, because Karma is a bitch, and if you do somebody wrong she's gonna bite a big ole chunk outta yo ass, girl!

If he is actually sexually harassing you then you can turn him in to HR, but if you just want him gone, because it's "awkward" now then you need to just leave it alone. Do the right thing!

Seriously? You'd ruin another person's life just because "it's awkward now"?
No, this isn't normal not in the fucking slightest!

The awkwardness will go away eventually once you both move on.
Just grow up and deal with it until then.

That is terrible, there is no other way to put it. There are the obvious answers these people are giving you and there are also other alternatives such as going to HR and explaining your situation and seeing if it is possible to maybe work in a different department or applying for a position elsewhere within the company. That said, i clearly have no idea where you work or what the job(s) entail.

As someone who has been in this situation at least one time, as the guy, it really blows.

It does suck, and it probably sucks for him also, but you need to learn to move on and not add something where there is nothing especially if he is going to be the one screwed. Get lost in your work or something, block him out. There's something you can gain from this, somewhere, without sabotaging him.

Well if he cheated or something like that it's normal to want revenge, but don't lie about sexual harassment. By lying about that, it makes actual harassment cases harder to take seriously. And that's bad.

If he broke up with you for mature reasons, like needing space or having a lot going on in his life, it's still normal to miss him but no need to be bitter. Just move forward.

That's not particularly admirable. No one can fault you for asking him to find a new job, or seeking one yourself, but slandering his name and reputation to take his source of income away just because you made the mistake of dating someone you work with? I don't think I need to tell you what that is, you must hold yourself to a low standard. I'm sure there's a way you guys can stay in the same job though. Some agreement to be reached. Guessing there's more to the story.

you are actually committing a crime that is actionable and you will be sued. not the company either, you. back wages , retirement . loss of income could go into the millions. Even if he is not fired the intent is actionable.
