I don't want to be forgotten. The internet won't go on indefinitely so I want a piece of rock depicting myself laying around for hundreds of thousands of years. Then when future archaeologists discover my statue I'll be famous.
Hang on for a few years, and you'll be able to buy a 3D printer that you can use to produce perfect life-size statues of yourself in plastic. That'll allow you to go for quantity, and you can bury a whole truckload of the statues in various places around the country.
The plastic is also likely to remain completely undamaged for a lot longer than any mere stone.
you need a lot of money to hire someone to make a statue of that size and durability as well as having your image copied perfectly.
none of that comes cheap also many things can happen as time passes on what if it gets destroyed the list is long on how that can happen.
also to note being forgotten happens to everyone rich or poor so it doesn't really matter.
one last thing what if your statue dose survive and the people who find it assume the worst and think you were a dictator or something?

What's so great about you, that you need a statue of yourself? Usually statues are to remember and celebrate important people that have done important things. If you want to clutter the environment with a statue of yourself, just because you don't want to be forgotten, that's stupid.
And even if you have enough money to make a statue of yourself and someone finds it in 500 years, it will (again) be useless. If there is any information written on the statue about you, they'll run the info through a database and when they find out you were nobody, the statue will be scrapped. If there is no writing, there'll be some investigating and then again the scientists will come to the conclusion, that your statue is useless.
