If that's how you feel then exactly, why not do it?
I'd just recommend you go for a classy place with good security, a trustworthy employer and respectful clientele, rather than a bottom-end, sweaty club with gropey men, a dodgy owner and bad security.
Oh, yeah. I live in a city so there are plenty "classy" places. I'll probably start somewhere in the middle rung, because the high end places are picky, and I would want to be prepared.
