The legal system of the UK doesn't apply to Scotland. The British crown as no legal or political power. We challenge Westminster UK government all the time. We trust our own Scottish Government. We banned guns because people are idiots. It worked for us. The UK government Westminster has no political power over Scotland. Scotland's only tie to the UK is economic tax. I know, I live here. The laws in Scotland are the same laws written by our old Scottish kings & queens (not UK kings or queens) obviously you can't assault Queen Elizabeth the 3rd. It's still assault.
Sure we don't have freedom of speech, because that's an American idea. We do have protection against hate speech. Your American political ideology doesn't work in Scotland.
Unlike you we don't have rights granted my a government constitution.
Instead we have rights and freedoms naturally, with those rights protected. Which means yes you have freedom, you just don't have the right to be an asshole.
