    Yeah if youve got decent healthcare and police who aren't completely fucking useless bastards you might not be able to get away with it so easily. Im pretty sure doctors just give out random babies in the maternity ward, because all babies look exactly the same.

      That's not really how maternity wards work. Unless the baby needs to be incubated they are never away from their mother. So there would be no opportunity for the baby to be mixed up with another baby.

      I think back in the day they used to take the babys away to a nursery. Maybe they used to get them mixed up then? That's kind of weird to think about. It must have happened at some point...

      The doctors don't just give them out random babies. Not in Scotland anyway.
