I want to be a house husband

So, it is my dream to one day find my true love, like many other young men, though unlike them, it is my ambition to give up working and become a full-time and dedicated house-husband, to spend as much time with her and the family as possible, and work out around the house. It's primarily because I want to reject social norms and what society tells us men's roles are and how that helps us interact with women. Is that normal?

You need more thought to this other than just being a contrarian. Imagine being a housekeeper, caretaker, babysitter, chef, and more all in one. On top of that, you need to be a stable/loving father and husband. It's such a huge responsibility. There are going to be times when you're going to get tired of cleaning the same messes every single day, and wish they would stop or pick up after themselves, take over some of the chores, and more, but it doesn't always work out that way; because children have school/homework, and your wife works and worries about the finances.

All in all, think about what you're saying (also, the same could be said about housewives).

Everyone is different. Families these days aren't the traditional Dad that goes to work and mom stays home with the kids.
Do whatever feels comfortable to you.

  • It's your life, if that's what you wanna do then go for it.

I think that in today's day and age that it's quite a lazy life-style for a man or woman to strive for (unless it involves a child) but again, it's your life to lead, so, whatever makes you happy I guess. I wish you luck on finding a partner that would accept that life style.
