Just a thought, you could get off the internet and look for friends in the real world.
If that's not possible, instagram is really easy to use, just type her username into the search bar and click follow. There you can message her or comment on stuff.
Unfortunately I can't meet people in real life so it must be online. I do follow her but I don't know how to message her and she posts pictures of her and who I'm assuming is her friends so I'm not sure what I'd write.
There should be a message button to the right of their profile photo, underneath the bit that tells you how many followers they have, you can't miss it :)
