I want a job where i can be with things as they die

Is there a name for being a companion to dying people, children, and animals? Like holding their hands or paws and sympathetically watching them die? I want to be the person who is bringing them to the light.

Volunteer in hospice and/or animal shelter? There isn't really a "job" that does that, most nurses and healthcare workers come close but are too busy (or just plain apathetic) to do spcifically that, I believe.

Bring them to light ?? Uhh you'd have to put in an application with the big guy in the sky. There might be some kinda religious "job" that entails something similar like a priest or nun idk

You have made some good points, but what this person seems to be implying is that they WOULDN'T be "(just plain apathetic)" as a nurse or a doctor, so that isn't an issue for them. Plus, nurses are the ones who personally take care of patients so they would be suited for the sort of job that the OP describes.

Not really a dig at nurses or anything but it's kind of hard for them to not become apathetic after awhile of seeing so many deaths and it's affect on the families..it would hurt too damn much so they become a little numb..just my observation of nurses i've known

I suppose you do have a point, but the OP asked about jobs where they can be with dying individuals, and nurse is certainly an option in that scenario.

Op asked about job where they are "holding their hands or paws and sympathetically watching them die", which nurses/medical people rarely do

I fully believe this, but at the same time they are opposed to people intentionally causing themselves physical pain, even outside of work. I have a fetish for attractive women looking to punch men in the balls, and with the few attractive nurses I've met they have said they would never do it. That's about it, except also I want to clarify, it is just that I haven't met many nurses, but in fact I find them in general to be more attractive. Scrubs also show the jiggliness of their butt. The most attractive girl I know is a nurse and she has a boyfriend now.

Believe me, no sensible person is going to punch a man in the balls unless he is attacking them or something. Any woman who desires to punch men in the balls is likely a misandrist and sick in the head.

What I'm saying is, a kind woman won't want to do it in the first place and a misandrist won't want to do it because you'll enjoy it.

I used to believe this too, however what you said is totally false. Thousands of women are interested for a myriad of reasons, sadism, control, etc. And many have the urge while maintaining compassion and love, and understand and accept their kinks. Even more women are open to it, every girl I've liked that has liked me has been interested, and has enjoyed it. It just is not that big of a deal for I would even say most women. It is a beautiful world. Also I've never come across a woman who wouldn't because the guy was interested.

There is no light, unfortunately. But you could be a nurse. They have more contact with the patient then the doctor does.

Nurses and doctors probably come the closest. Being a therapist or psychologist specialized on terminal patients can also be a great option. Their job is specifically to help hospitals treat them well or personally offer them service in order to help them cope with their horrible situation.

bringing them to the light can mean anything. why dont you be that person that raises the living and makes a difference to people while they are alive. Jesus said let the dead bury the dead and walk with me.
