Eh, it wasn't so bad. I've done it a few times before so it was pretty straightforward this time. The first time was fucking terrifying though. At one point I thought I was going to die. And then I had a huge post partum hemorrhage and actually did nearly die. I get why so many people fear it. It's not to be taken lightly. My subsequent births have all been ok, thankfully. And it's worth it because you have a baby at the end of it.

Germany to Ibiza on the fastest route I can think of is about 1900km. Assuming the ferry isn't late and gets me from Valencia to San Antonio in exactly 5 hours, I've got at least 13 hours of driving.

That's assuming there are no road works, no queues for random border checks, the ferry is on time and the weather is ideal and no traffic jams. Best case scenario - I'm in Ibiza in 18 hours. Realistically, I would need about 21-23 hours to get to Ibiza. Especially in the warmer months, possibly even more...

No matter how fast I drive, I have at least 5 hours of ferry time and roughly an hour and a half of boarding, checks and getting off the ship. Even worse if you have a long sporty car with a front splitter. You have to drive very slowly inside the ferry and do lots of pre-planning, cause the inclines are brutal and if you rush it, you will damage the bodywork.

Tho if I had to take a leisure trip to Ibiza in a car, I would definitely go for my old 6-series BMW and take the ferry from Barcelona. That trip is 9-10 hours. Chose an evening ferry, get a room so me and my girlfriend can sleep and so I can have a couple of drinks and know I'm sober when we arrive in the morning.
I would combine the Ibiza trip with a few other destinations on the Riviera, Spain, Switzerland, the Alps and then back to Bulgaria (where I keep the car)
