I did so that I would have a legitimate stance on medical marijuana. Seriously. I liked it, but I didn't become "addicted". Truth is, marijuana is NOT addicting; it's habit-forming occasionally, but not addicting. So, if you have the chance to try it in a safe setting at a time when you are unlikely to get drug-tested in the coming month, I say go for it. Otherwise, you'll just wonder, and you might push yourself too far in other aspect of your life or try pot in a less controlled setting later on in life. A warning: pot does cause paranoia in about ten percent of people, so make sure someone is in proper shape to take care of you if you have a bad reaction. If you're high and fine, they can THEN join in.
I've never gotten high before, should I?
