i could see how you might come to that conclusion but unless your one of those people that goes out every night looking for someone to have sex with or is always looking for the next person to get laid with your really not missing out on much time.
sex to an asexual person could be considered a hobby that an asexual person wouldnt enjoy. the likely hood of someone deciding to invent something or get alot smarter because they have an extra 10 minutes are very small. your more likely to just do something else you enjoy doing. unless learning is fun to you.
I've never enjoyed sex.
