Hopefully you have at least one guy friend, beg him to be honest and ask him to put you in one of three categories:
- above average
- average
- below average
if you are not below average, you can be certain people are not avoiding you for your looks. 90~95% of people fall into average.
Me and my friend have game we play in Chinese, where we rate women on a scale of 0 to 10, and we'll never agree! This is why I chose categories over a point scale.
You don't expect me to change all of a sudden do you? till no guy has approached me...I feel shy to start anything...this is difficult for me! I wish I was enough appealing that they would suggest talking or dating...then I would have done something! it is soooo strange for me that no one has approached me to talk to me or to express their interest or to flirt! I am so hard trying to figure out what is the problem! it baffles me up the more I think about it...:(

Probably, you should change your grading criteria :)...One thing you must and I think all males have to work on, is, the ability to distinguish between false beauty and natural one :)...Females are expert in disguising and making the nature's agenda true! I quickly get which of the girls around me are GENES and which are artificial products...and I always appreciate those which hold genes :)...
But at the same time I feel sad for those who want to be accepted (The averages and below average ones which you mentioned about) but because of the superficial society/ world, they have to cover themselves up in a gift paper and ribbon to advertise what's in them...things get more and more complicated in the superficial world!...Dirty and with 1000 faces...:)
