Interesting that you would choose to exercise your freedom to write this post, but feel it isn't worth what you are paying for it.
I, on the other hand, would not give up my ultimate right to choose any life I wish, because to live in a society that chooses my life for me, would not be acceptable.
There were some countries, during the 40's, 50's, 60's and 70's, where you took a test before you began school, which would determine the level of education you would get. As you moved through school, further testing determined your job and therefor your station in life, without your having anything at all to say about it. You were not paid well; the system supplied you with a place to live and the necessities that suited your station in life, but you were SAFE, from everything (little crime, no terrorism, etc.), except the security services.
Not a good trade, IMO.
