    Yes, it's very normal to show your pets a lot of affection! I always let my dog or cat lay on the couch or my bed with me. It's comforting for both you and your pet. There's nothing wrong with loving your pets, but make sure they still behave.

    No, it's not normal. A dog should be treated as an animal. It is an animal that does not understand any human feeling or intelligence, it only acts on pure wild instinct.

    So if you do not educate it to behave, or scold it when doing something wrong in time, it will cause a lot of trouble to you and all around you in the long term.
