Dude. Wealth is created, and wealth is consumed. The 1% know this. If they have no customers, or no employees, their businesses crumble leaving only robots. So, their goal goes beyond productivity improvements. They also want to jack up the inequality of wealth distribution thru rent seeking, and monopolistic activities. You should go study economics.
That antiquated system will no longer apply. Wealth does not require currency. There's nothing wrong with only having robots if they can do every conceivable thing for you.
Of course wealth is not currency. Wealth is assets both liquid and illiquid. If you can't sell your inventory or services, you go nowhere. Doesn't matter if humans did the work or robots. You need to study economics more desperately than I originally thought.
I am 20% invested in stocks of companies doing robotic design and leasing. This sector will only become more lucrative in the next decade. Why don't you stop whining and start buying into the market? Fidelity Investments (fidelity.com) is a good way to establish an investment position.

The 1% already have their own governments and militaries. Eliminating the 99% would be foolish. Where do you think they get their wealth??

Any value the mass of meat and bones has to them as a human labor force will be gone once AI and robotics reaches a certain point in the not-too-distant future.

There's a reason the kind of stupid shit you're suggesting hasn't happened yet. "Lowly" members of society who clock into jobs aren't paid because someone loves them. They're paid because they're cogs needed to keep the grand system that the 1% is at the top of turning.

As the rich create more and more wealth, they destroy the planet more and more. To make dollar bills or in my case pound notes, you need paper. Paper comes from trees. Tress are the lungs of the earth. Destroy trees and you wipe out humanity entirely anyway, no matter how rich you are.
Poor people who can't afford plane tickets or meat are great for the environment. Only problem is they reproduce too much.
Those that live in excess are bad for the environment, yes, but a lot of money nowadays doesn't even exist physically. It exists digitally.
So in saying that, you want the minority left to there devices. As the majority superpass the minority! World would crumble.
