I agree with this post. A lot of people like to play the 'humanity sucks' card because of how badly they get treated, yet they are part of the problem.
I've seen this sort of thing in school, actually. In 7th grade, there was this boy who would repeatedly tease my friend and I, making fun of me for having acne and making fun of my friend for being abit chubby.
Ironic thing is, he himself was a skinny, pale, freckled, white hair and white eyelash sporting jerk. Nobody really liked him either, so I guess he took his frustration out on those around him.
I never used to tease this person, but one day, I can't remember what it was that he said but it was the last straw. My friend and I just sort of told him off, and he went crying to the teacher. I shit you not, he actually cried.
From then on he was always moping about how shitty his life was and how badly everybody treated him, yet the reason nobody liked him was because he was a jerk and a bully.
Too many people treat others like shit but expect to be treated like a god, and its just not going to happen. I believe in respect, if the person respects you back. I don't care what your age, gender, race or social status is - if you're an asshole to me, you're going to get told off. That's just how it works.
I'm glad someone doesn't just blindly feel sorry for everyone who claims to be treated horribly. This post has made my day.
I think that some people had it coming from society/humanity. IIN?
