Your reason I like. A healthy reason I'd say. Perfectly normal. Petsonally I'm hairless there thanks to laser hair removal. Shabing is just a hassle, and I don't like it hairy. Trimmed is ok though.
It's nice it feels good to not have all that scruff in my opinion bit really to each their own

It’s because children’s genitals are hairless, pubic hair is a sign of maturity, it’s not a mental stretch.
