If I've gone some time without showering and starting to need one, I think my hair smells really good. I'll rub it in between my fingers for a moment and then smell my fingers. Or just flip my hair a bit and smell it that way.
Something to note is that people often shampoo their hair too often. Not saying I agree with your statement, but it's something that seems related to the subject.
I think my poo smells amazing too. You should listen to what others say about your looks. Don't be conceited.
I feel quite the opposite. I can't stand the smell (or feel) of greasy hair, even if it isn't bad yet. I also hate the smell and feel of dry shampoo, so I much prefer my freshly washed hair over when it's needing to be washed.
