I think my calfs are huge

Everytime I want to buy boots that are high up on the calf (I live in the Northwest and our winters can be pretty wet and cold), my calfs always seems to be abnormally huge and the boot can't accommodate it.

I feel as if everyone else can wear below-the-knee boots and not worry about if their calf can fit in there. Does anyone else have this problem? Is it normal? Are there any boot manufacturers out there that cater to the large calf population?

I just want to look cute in my boots that'll keep my feet and [big] calves warm!

    Oh, you meant leg calfs… Originally, I thought that you meant baby cows and I was wondering what on earth were you feeding them to make them so big.

    same here, i wanna have my calves operated !!! i cant wear skirts or shorts im usually mistaken as gay and ridiculed because of my big calves!

    Do you play a lot of sports like soccer? If you do a lot of physical activity that involves running, then it is perfectly normal. A lot of soccer players, cross country runners, even cheerleaders have seemingly huge calves.

    A friend of mine had the same thing happen to her. Very frustrating. It's also frustrating being on the other end of the scale... when you have skinny calves, and the boots flop around. They need to make adjustable boots or something!
